Education Scholorships for Delhi Students
Students from SC, ST, OBC and minority communities will now get loans of upto Rs.5 lakh from Delhi government instead of Rs.1lakh,they get so far.This has been announced by Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshi.

"We have decided to raise the existing limit of Rs.1 lakh to Rs5 lakh," Dikshit said after laying the foundation stone of a Women Wing in an ITI.You can know various other sholorships from the related links on our blog.

The government provides loans to youths from SC, ST, OBC and minority communities for self employment as well as to start entrepreneurship.

Overview



The Chancellor's International Scholarships are now open for applications for entry in 2012-13.

For entry in October 2012, Warwick will offer to approximately 17 of the most outstanding international PhD applicants.

-The full payment of overseas tuition fees (worth up to £14,600 at 10/11 rates)

-A maintenance stipend in line with RCUK rates (worth £13,590 at 10/11 rates)

Eligibility

i) Applicants for a Chancellor's International Scholarship must also be applying for a PhD at the University of Warwick to begin in October 2012;

ii) Applicants must expect to be overseas students for fees purposes, but there is no other nationality criteria

iii) Applicants may be from any discipline at Warwick.

Please note that unlike Chancellors Scholarships (formerly WPRS), Chancellors International Scholarships are not open to current first year PhD students, but only to applicants for a PhD.

How to apply

The application process will be wholly combined with the applications for Chancellors Scholarships (formerly WPRS) and all applicants for a Chancellor`s International Scholarship will automatically also be considered for a Chancellor`s Scholarship. 

Please read the guidance thoroughly before applying. Only applicants who score very highly on the ScoringCriteria are likely to have a realistic chance of success.

COHSEM Manipur Exam 2011 Merit of Rs.80000 for Science Toppers

Manipur Board Exam Merit for XII th Toppers
After COHSEM Results 2011 where the 12th toppers in Science are announced to get merit ,scholorship from Govt.
In a major encourage to the student community, the Government of
Manipur will select 228
students who excel in the Science stream in the class XII examination
conducted by Council of
Higher Secondary Educa-
tion Manipur (COHSEM) for
availing scholarship benefits under the Inspire Scheme.

The Scheme is informed to have been launched by
the Government of India ’s Department of Science
and Technology to
encourage students
pursue Science courses in
order to replenish
strength of the country ’s science teachers and
scientists. Under the Scheme a
scholarship amount of Rs80,000 will given to a student for pursuing the three- year graduation course in Science with a similar amount available in a year for those pursuing MSc course. An informed source in COHSEM affirmed that result of the class XII examination would be declared within May 30. Stating that a total of
22,776 candidates had
appeared in the Council
examination in Arts,
Science and Commerce
streams, the source said as per instruction of the
Department of Science
and Technology, which
functions under the
Ministry of Science and
Technology (Govt of India) the financial
assistance is to be given
to one percent of the
total class XII candidates. As shortlisting only one
percent from amongst
the Science stream
candidates will amount to
a negligible number of
beneficiaries the Ministry is informed to have
suggested to the Council
to take into account the
total number of class XII
students but recommend
for the scholarship from among the Science
students only.

Meritorious students
(Science) from both
Government and private
educational institutions
would be eligible for the
scholarship with the condition that 75 percent
aggregate should be the
cut-off mark, the source
informed while adding
that failure to maintain
the aggregate percent at graduation or MSc level
would mean annulment
of the financial assistance.

At the time of issuing
mark-sheets after
declaration of the class
XII examination result
228 top ranking science
students would be given a form for
applying for the INSPIRE
Scheme scholarship.

There will be a total of 10,000 meritorious science students are to be
covered under the
Scheme out of which
2500 beneficiaries would be reserved for AIEEE,IIT-JEE, AIDMT, IIESR,NISER, KVPY, NTSE,
International Olympiad
medallists and JBNST
students.
