Eamcet Admissions Online 2011Web-based counselling for engineering admissions 2011 from the third week of July and online counselling for MBBS and BDS courses will start from July 17. AICTE granted 7 new engineering colleges this year to the state with an intake of 2,100 seats. Now the state has 2,69,175 seats in 707 colleges, an additional 25,000 seats in the existing engineering colleges are expected to be approved due to increase in intake. A total of 2,07,252 students have qualified in the engineering stream and 52,510 have qualified in the medical stream after the Eamcet ranks were announced.

The engineering seats in the state are expected to cross the 3 lakh mark this year. Officials decided to follow a cut-off date of June 30 to include seats in the counselling. Any approvals given by AICTE after the cut-off date will not be considered for admissions this year and will be taken up only in the next academic year. The classes for first year engineering students will begin from August 16. There will be no change in the fees for engineering courses this year as the AFRC has decided to retain the existing fee structure for professional courses.You can get more info's from Official site given below

Eamcet qualifiers 2,59,753 this year, as 17,478 failed the Intermediate exams even qualifying in Eamcet. Originally, 2,78,852 students had qualified in Eamcet, when the marks were announced on June 8. Of them, 14,497 students in the engineering stream and 2,981 students in the medical stream have failed the Intermediate exams this year.
